So here it goes....

If you’ve been wondering whether I have any Christmas mini spots or remaining sessions for the rest of the year, I wanted to share a sincere and honest update. I’ve received so many messages asking about holiday photos, family sessions, and last-minute openings — and I’m truly grateful for every inquiry and every person who thinks of me to capture their memories.

At this time, I am not taking on any additional sessions for the remainder of the year. I will only be completing the sessions that are already booked or previously discussed. This decision wasn’t an easy one, but it’s a necessary one.

Why I’m Scaling Back

For the past several years, I’ve been working full time, while also running my photography business at a full-time capacity, all while being a wife and a mom. Photography has been a huge blessing in my life — capturing moments for families all across southern Oklahoma, from Christmas minis to newborn sessions, seniors, weddings, and everything in between.

But in trying to pour into all of these things at once, I pushed myself far beyond what was sustainable. My health has taken a hit. My family hasn’t received the time they deserve. And I’ve found myself overwhelmed — always juggling a full plate, constantly trying to keep up.

There have been times I responded to messages much later than I should have, or delivered galleries slower than what I expect from myself. That was never the kind of experience I wanted for my clients.

Choosing Peace Over Profit

I started Roberts Photo Co. because I love capturing memories. I love supporting families, documenting milestones, and being part of your stories. But I’ve reached a season where I need to choose peace over profit, and put my family and my health first.

This does not mean I’m stepping away from photography.

I still want to take your photos. I still want to capture your weddings, your families, your babies, your seniors, your holiday traditions, and all the beautiful moments in between.

I’m simply scaling back — not filling every weekend and weeknight, not overbooking myself, and being more intentional about the sessions I take on. This allows me to continue serving my clients well, while also creating a healthier balance for my life and my family.

How to Inquire Going Forward

If you are interested in a session with me moving forward, the best way to reach me is through the contact form on my website.

Messages can get lost in social media inboxes, but inquiries submitted through my website allow me to stay organized and respond in a timely way.

👉 Please use my website contact form for all session inquiries.

Whether you’re planning ahead for the new year, thinking about a family session, or wanting to get on my books early for upcoming seasons, I would truly love to talk with you.

Thank You for Supporting Me in This New Season

To every family, couple, and individual who has trusted me with their memories: thank you. Your support has meant more to me than you could ever know. This shift is not the end — it’s simply a move toward a healthier, more sustainable, more peaceful chapter.

I’m excited to continue serving southern Oklahoma with the same heart, creativity, and care — just with a little more room to breathe.

Thank you for understanding, for supporting my business, and for being part of this journey with me. ❤️
